Who We Serve

For more than 45 years, the Morrison School has successfully educated bright, creative children whose learning differences have made succeeding in a traditional school extremely difficult.

Morrison School serves students with low average to superior intellectual ability who experience an interference with their ability to achieve their potential in a conventional school setting.  Such interference may be any or a combination of the following:

  • Specific Learning Disability in Reading and/or Math
  • Written Language Disability
  • Language Processing Disorder
  • Attention Deficit Disorder
  • High Functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Superior Intellect and/or Other Specific Gifts and Talents who are bored, unchallenged, and underachieving in conventional programs
  • Personal and/or Social Problems ~ Poor work habits, low self-esteem, anxieties, or social imperception

We do not accept students of significant intellectual disabilities and/or students who have behavior disorders that include current and habitual incidents of violent and aggressive acting out behaviors.

Morrison School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Morrison School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarships and other school-administered programs.
