Morrison School's mission is to prevent attention and learning disabilities from becoming lifelong handicaps that interfere with educational, job, and personal success.
Morrison School is presently enrolling students for the 2011-2012 School Year which starts on Wednesday, August 24th. Benefit Auction ….. Huge Success
Morrison School’s Benefit Auction held on Saturday, October 9th at Booher’s Auto Auction was a huge success thanks to the generosity of Dolphus Booher who provided not only the facility but the auctioneers and bookkeeper as a gift to the school. A special thank you is extended to Greg Roark (auctioneer) who delayed his move to Florida to make himself available that day. These folks are truly selflessly committed to the community they serve.
Certainly, Jay & Monnie Richardson (Jacob’s parents) afforded the opportunity to get the benefit off to a success with their generous gift of the Prowler Camper which sold for $4,000.00. Chandra Morse (Connor Johnson’s mother) searched the internet for donations of auction items to assure a successful benefit. Jimmie and Wilma Powers (grandparents of Dalton Reynolds) worked weeks prior to the auction collecting items. Additionally, they peeled and processed 7 bushels of apples for the apple butter stir which they commenced at 4:00 in the morning on the day of the auction. It is impossible to mention everyone who so graciously gave of their time and effort preparing for and working at the benefit. However, please accept our heartfelt thanks.
Lastly, sincere thanks to the community for your attendance and support. It is encouraging to everyone at Morrison School as we daily strive to continue offering our unique services. Thank you.
